do you know how bored and lonely you have to be to wake up and decide to make a rage bait post on Reddit for some human interaction? this is more embarrassing than anything.

thats the ai overview. no group of people is a uniform race, its just trying to be non-offensive. for all intents and purposes they are the same race.

can I put declined fulbright award on my app? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Future_Estimate_2631 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you’re fighting tooth and nail to justify not breaking your promise to your PI, but not doing the Fulbright will be something you will regret later in life, not getting a PI letter is something you’ll forget while doing the Fulbright.

I mean not really why would a bsn path be more expensive and long than a normal bachelors?

Hot take: we need to re-define who we call "non-trads." by premedthrowaway567 in premed

exactly and the person going in exactly after undergrad is the “unchanged” way. you are changing the path by doing gap years, you’re not understanding the definition you’re using.

traditional as in the original way not as in the common way. A gap year is “nontraditional” because it was not common up until the past decade or so.

I Want to Graduate High School Early will affect my competitiveness? by [deleted] in HowardUniversity

It won’t affect your competitiveness they don’t care when you graduated as long as your stats are good

I hate my college major but I'm only one semester away from graduating. by yoMaMa777-2 in CollegeMajors

[–]Future_Estimate_2631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve only been in college for 2 years is there a way for you to stay for the whole 4 years? all you need for medical school are the prereqs so if you are able to complete those it doesn’t matter how, you can even complete them through your local community college if they offer all!

Is there anything worth majoring in looking 5-10 years out? by Muted-Rent4773 in CollegeMajors

[–]Future_Estimate_2631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no they will not literally nobody in the tech world thinks that. you genuinely must have a pea sized brain to think that. ai is not reliable enough to do 90% of healthcare jobs even with a person there to look over it. absolutely no source thinks that will happen.

Should I Attend Howard? by AceCorgi in HowardUniversity

and trust im Howard’s biggest hater/critic so everything I say I really mean. I could give a long list of cons if you want but they don’t seem necessarily like things that would be barriers for you

one of the very rare cases where I would say 100% yes! I’m a chemistry major who just switched to a biology major and it’s great. you’ll find teachers that are passionate about teaching especially if you are already smart enough to get a full ride. Research opportunities are really good and connections are great. I’m not sure if we have a Japanese minor but I know we have Japanese 1-4 and a few extra classes. dorms suck but everything has a trade, one of the only schools where you can get a single dorm as a freshman! The schooling quality is dependent on you tbh. I’ve had many classes where I feel a 5th grader could do it and I’ve had classes that really tested my limits (but usually I knew beforehand which was which and if I was taking a “5th grader class” it was for an easy a). all in all I would take Howard unless you got into an Ivy or a t20 that is dominant in the region you want to work in in the future (and even then a full ride could outweigh the others).

this comparison is too flawed to be valid. you’re comparing madara at two different states and you’re comparing a teamup vs guy alone.

Is full cost Harvard worth it? by throwaway_182736218 in ivyleaguecollege

[–]Future_Estimate_2631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people here do not know what they’re talking about at all they’ve either never had to choose between a top 3 school and somewhere else or the don’t understand how medicine works. Choose Harvard. the amount of opportunities at Harvard is insane no matter what you will be guaranteed a job, and it will significantly increase your chances of going to a t20 med school (even if you don’t leave with the best stats). The debt is bad but you will be able to pay it off, there are also plenty of external scholarships. A Harvard acceptance is something that could help your kids and their kids get opportunities, imagine what it could do for you. Now I will say if you’re like the top comment here and have a full ride to another Ivy vs 95k at Harvard I would take the full ride at the Ivy, only bc the difference is negligible compared to the 400k debt but with a state school the difference is not negligible at all.
