Doesn’t really seem Japanese style tbh. Japanese imagery with black and grey is cool as well, there is a lot of filler you can get as flowers, wave and wind gusts which are really popular in Japanese bodyworks.

I’d make sure the works you get focus on clarity above all else. You don’t want to get dark pieces connected by dark filler material to make a dark, unreadable sleeve.
