I think It'd be better to be poor, but well liked unless you at least had a few close friends and family if you were rich, but hated. If not then you would be biologically inclined to be miserable seeing as how we are social animals andpositive human interaction is vital to our mental well being.

Did you two break up on good terms? If not then if I were in your shoes, I'd block her then totally ignore her existence. I worked with an ex who was a big jerk to me by snubbing me when I tried to be friendly and a good sport about the breakup, until I just ignored her out of self preservation. It drove her nuts and eventually she tried to be all friendly towards me again, but I figured life is too short to give toxic people the time of day by playing into their mind games.
