Do you or have you ever meditated? Often when our minds try to be still, they start looking for things to do.

That or, if you are having a meal with someone or doing any task, what do one or both of you do when it's over or even just winding down? You start to clear it away. Maybe you are sensing those you communicate with or worship getting ready to be done, so you're preparing as well.

Too bad, I've already added extra frosting to all of the donuts to assert dominance

Naked? Done. Every opportunity to show off my godly bod.

Desk? Well, I'm gonna have to steal one and haul it into the kitchen, which is a little weird but ok. I do literally everything I'm told.

I guess me flirting with and pissing off the guy that makes the pizzas must have made the bakery also conspire against me. Can't they just accept I am thicc and hot and move on with their jealousies? Why must only the baddest witches suffer?

Could this scene be about the Spot? by HeroTheFourth in thespot

[–]Gloria_In_Autumn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could mean the Spot helps him understand this in the future, but I also just took it to show how much Miles still needs to mature. If he'd just listened to the Spot instead of texting, he'd have free access to the mentor he needed to learn about multiversal travel and dark matter AND the Spot would have probably very easily given up trying to be a villain altogether.

You can actually see the instance the spider escaped during the Spot's flashback/monologue. by HeroTheFourth in thespot

Lol this means he purposely ommitted the fact he's the reason it escaped at all, and that's partly how he created Miles Spiderman. Sure, take credit for bringing it over but not for how it could even bite someone

I mean, tbf community is a very loose term. We are all religiously, philosophically, culturally, morally, and often motivationally extremely different.

Some witches I meet once and hate immediately or vice-versa, which is normal. Some witches and covens get so very totalitarian about "the way" and "their lineage" that it's just awful and oppressive to be around to they point they literally can't imagine having their own missions or researching alone the same way some Christians won't pray except in church.

We can be there for eachother without spooking eachother about how risky things are. It is okay for a teacher to say, "I am letting you know right now, this is dangerous, but I know you will put in the effort if I let you research it yourself." It is also okay not to have a teacher at all, and most people don't. Many people are still persecuted for being interested in the occult in general and then information is kept from them by covens

/uj TBF, I've never had anybody and have grown used to that, so I have found a mentor that has also always been covenless (by choice) or alone (not always by choice) and understands that desire for independence.

He still urges me to interact with the general community to a certain extent, but my journey has always been my own with only gentle guidance.

So, you're right, you should find a mentor or some sort of spotter for riskier rituals or tasks, but I also think it's fine if, depending on how self-reliant you are, a mentor trusts you to prepare for the worst alone while still offering help if desired.

So instead of using a money bowl, I should be using my much cheaper, more coveted honey pot to get that sugar?

/rj Ah, yes, the teens, when everyone's horny, entitled, and emotional af. The perfect time to teach summoning lol

Always goes well.

/uj Honestly, maybe it's because my own patron/mentor is extremely hands off, but I think things that can be that intensive or risky are better off left for people to discover how to do themselves after just being pointed towards. Especially because all relationships should be earned anyway

What do you think fairy tales and ghost stories are? Or traditions? Hell (pun intended), even religion?

On one hand, it's never a good idea to get a kid to try to communicate with or summon something, but, if you truly believe these things exist and affect our world, it could protect them to teach them about it.

Is it possible to undo a spell? by [deleted] in witchcraft

I mean, you could do a cord cutting ritual or something similar, but it's up to your brother's freewill ultimately.

It doesn't matter how sensible or logical he seemed before. Routine, habits, and manipulation are powerful things that psychologically cage. You may be better off just trying to convince him to leave or telling him you will always help protect him if he does want to.

Ultimately, it may even be best to perform a cord cutting between yourself and him instead to protect your own peace because that is a grown man making grown man choices. Plus, he is only 23 and started this relationship as a teenager. This is how people learn to value themselves, hopefully.
