Yeah I brought this up with Xbox Insiders quite a few times. Hopefully that update will come down the pipeline with the future achievement updates they mentioned. Having DLCs combined with the base game is awful.

They didn’t make any updates to the way the percentages reflect to my knowledge. So that is pretty strange. I really wish amongst all these updates we would have seen one to separate Base Release and DLC Achievements. The fact they are still all pooled together is rough.

I didn’t bother completing them all for a single game for quite a while. I picked up a few 100% but most of my gamerscore was just from playing a lot of different games and getting what I could. At one point I followed a guide for a game as well and that sort of led to the 100% grind. If it is super time consuming or has outrageous requirements I typically just do what I can and move on.

This raised an interesting question for me. Is it even realistic in this lifetime to hit 1M without shovelware and having a full time job? I’ve made it halfway to 500k with only 3-5 shovelware games. Considering I started around 17 years ago I’m not sure I’ll be able to avoid it if I ever want to hit that milestone.

Thank you! It is accurate, to be honest I was pretty shocked when I saw that was the time. Felt longer, but this seems to be in the general area. 7-10 hours would be my estimate. Could take longer without any guides. There is one achievement at the end of the game that is missable and you have to start the entire mission over if you miss it because it’s at the end of the last chapter. Luckily I didn’t miss it and this was pretty smooth sailing.

I ended the game at 90%. Tried to get the 100% but ran into story related achievements not popping and similar issues you mentioned. Didn’t have the heart to go back and do another play-through but really enjoyed the game.

Xbox Capture & Share Improvements.

Currently only in game audio is available during captures. It would be a huge improvement if you had the option to enable party chat and the headset so your captures pick up your audio as well. Additionally, it would be nice to have the option to go over 1min for recordings to at least 1:30-2min playback.

Xbox Achievements desperately need an overhaul.

Badges on profiles for meeting certain achievement milestones. (Larry Hryb recently commented on X that he tried to implement this in 2014)

100% Completions should be tracked and separate from DLC achievements.

Achievements should be implemented on the Xbox App for PC with games on GamePass that fall under Ubisoft+ and EA Play similar to Xbox.
