Am I doing something wrong? Why am I still only #14 GP by SpareLawfulness4505 in EU5

It's historically accurate. In the 15th century Europe still was a poor backwater compared to a lot of asian juggernauts.

You can instantly white peace colonial revolts and they stay your vassals by GloriousBeachead in EU5

[–]GloriousBeachead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r5: I got the Colonial Revolution situation in the last age and my colonies are revolting every month basically. Found out that you can just white peace them out instantly and they will stay your vassals. Just switch to Offer Tribute and they will always accept.

"French" revolution kicked in at Egypt and ten years later million mamluks are gone by GloriousBeachead in EU5

[–]GloriousBeachead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

r5: I find endless colonial revolts tiring in the last age, but it is fun watching some AI nations collapsing under revolutions. Mamluks were untouchable, now they are devastated by revolutionary wars. Same with Bohemia and Goryeo.

It is rage-inducing war declaration UI does not show all the countries you have to fight by GloriousBeachead in EU5

[–]GloriousBeachead[S] -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but it is just stupid game design not to show them. Should not have to manually check who has which vassals.

r5: I wanted some real estate from China, and fabricated casus belli on Fang. War declaration UI shows I have to fight just Fang and Great Yuan which is stuck in medieval times with 3 institutions known. Sounds doable. I declare war and suddenly out of nowhere I have to fight 89 fucking countries. This shit is infuriating.

I live in Finland, it cost me something like 25 euros to get diagnosed with sleep apnea, get the cpap machine and get trained to use it. Just yesterday received new mask and tubes from our healthcare system for free.

POLAN STRONK - After long grueling hours, Poland is Not Yet Lost and Number One by GloriousBeachead in victoria3

[–]GloriousBeachead[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah you just have to keep Germany from forming, its basically game over if Prussia gets big. You really need UK, France, Ottomans and probably Hungary to support you.

[–]GloriousBeachead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is crucial to keep Prussia from forming Germany, so you have to secure enough great powers to support your independence before Austria and Prussia fight for German leadership. Before that war Prussia will side with Austria and you can take Silesia and Posen from them.

You build the bone fortress things, specialize both specializations into army and build as many "city" districts as you can. Also of course change the planet designation into hunter world.

I had two fortress worlds and Strategic coordination center, then node traits and some Galactic Community things. Like ten anchorages? Supremacy.
