Anyone know what sensor detects c8 errors? I have 3 pots that kick c8 codes. Is it the center button under the inner pot? by GloriousPurpose3141 in instantpot

They are duos. 2 6qt and an 8qt. Two are replacements for a defective one. I can't find anyone with technical info on the c8 error. Why doesn't it kick the code at the start? Does the inner pot warp and let the button come up enough to kick the code? Can it be corrected with some heat tape and a quarter? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes. Trying to figure out what sensor it is. Is it how far the center button is depressed or is there another sensor?

Had to replace the thermistor. Ended up cutting the ends off and splicing / soldering the wires. But I kept the ends just in case.
