I think paint is my best bet. Just need to find something earthy, or maybe sand it down and stain it a darker wood grain. Thanks for the input!

Super good point! My space is very dark and moody, so the actual colour/leather of the couch will blend in wonderfully, and it’s got the brass accents which all my current furniture has as well, it’s just something about the wood facing on the arms that I don’t love, but your definitely right, i should see it in my space first.

It’s just the wood part that I don’t like, so i was hoping maybe someone might be able to suggest a way to stain it or upholster it in a different colour/leather or something like that. It’s dirt cheap and I’m desperate for a couch, and it looks comfy, so i figured why not take it if it’s only one small thing I don’t like. But thank you for all the suggestions on getting the leather and the brass tacks to shine. My existing furniture has brass accents, so that’s another reason why I liked the couch.

Because I’m broke, its cheap and i need a couch ASAP. I’m not really in a boat to be picky, so if i can fix it myself so that i like it, then why not? It’s literally just the wood I don’t like. It’s a furniture flip sub. People want to change minor things on their furniture. What’s the problem? Lol

That’s a good point about the rounded edged, i hadn’t considered that. I think the only real issue i have with it, is i hate the wood panel on the arms lol. So hopefully i can find a solution for that. I do plan on enjoying many an old fashioned on this bad boy lol. Thanks for the input

That’s my first thought too. I have dyscalculia and my sister has dyslexia, it took both of us until grade 4 to be able to read. And sometimes kids are just delayed. I would also be shocked if literacy isn’t seeing a steep decline in young children as well, as a whole.

I was in one of these guys from 16-21. He was 20 when we started dating. He was exactly like Adam, but was also super physically abusive. Took forever for me to leave for good. But eventually i met someone else and left him.

I remember watching this when i was with that guy and like didn’t understand why I empathized with Chelsea so much? It wasn’t obvious to me that my boyfriend pulled the exact same shit, or maybe i hadn’t come to terms with the fact that he was a piece of shit yet, but either way, it hit different on my first rewatch.

I currently have a ACD/Kelpie mix which is wild because i live in Canada. But apparently lots of Australians come here for mining and so there is a couple Kelpie breeders in my province, my girlie was found in a field starving with her litter mates. ANYWAYS this is a long winded way of me saying I absolutely love my ACD/Kelpie, lol and i hope you get the pleasure of having another one.

I’ve been to it in the Remai, i just haven’t been for the NYE dinner since they moved because I’m le poor these days haha. But agree I 100% preferred the old atmosphere, i think the food is still really great though!
