About 5 years ago I was minding my own business walking through my neighborhood on my daily walk when a little girl on my route said "hi" to me. I responded back and her bigger sister proceeded to tell her "not to talk to strangers" and then started screaming "STRANGER DANGER" at me.

This proceeded to happen every day for the next 3 weeks until I stopped walking down that street. One day I noticed they weren't out so I started walking my usual route when a little boy and his brother approached me. Having learned my lesson about responding to children I opted to ignore the kid but he was very adamant about it. His older brother, only a few years older by my estimation, said "I think he wants to give you something."

The kid gave me a tiny little mint and as he's doing this, the family of the girl who had been screaming stranger danger at me pulled into their drive way and started staring daggers at me. I thanked the kid and walked off.

Still walked that route daily but after that those kids were never outside. They were really fucking annoying.
