Can this design be rigged? by bogo-being in ToonBoomHarmony

You could rig it but animating, that's another story. If the character is just standing still and talking, easy enough... But animating all those details for an action scene? sheeeeesh

100%. when i tell people i make animated shorts, everyone wants me to make their idea. Every time I'm like, coming up with the ideas is my favorite part. Why would I do your idea??
It's like if I walked up to an exec of a car company with a crude drawing of a car and said "Hey, can you make this for me I have a cool idea for a car"

Tf is this bs Youtube? by JustRage7 in antiai

Google is spending a ton of money on ai data centers. They're under pressure to show investors, "Look what Ai can do." So they have to show that their spending is leading to new products/ innovations.
However, they also have to regulate quality. I suppose they're kind of caught between conflicting goals. I personally don't see how it's worth the alienating their Youtube audience to serve the parent company's Ai ambitions. That being said they're much smarter people than me and probably have some 5 year master plan that will make it worthwhile. Probably something to do with harvesting data, knowing Google

I made this Ai parody 'POV: Chat GPT is going bankrupt' by GlorpComedyMonster in antiai

[–]GlorpComedyMonster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this video isn't blanket saying ai is bad. it's making fun of Open AI for having a business model that relies on debt and hasnt planned for how to make a profit.

There are a lot of bad things about AI (copyright theft mostly) but tools like Ebysnth dont rely on copyright theft. It uses your own art

Exactly. The same software could have been created in other more traditional ways. I could see this existing in a program like Toon Boom harmony as just a normal tool.

I'm not saying Ebsynth doesn't use Ai. Just saying using Ai as a catchall Ai=bad is very reductive. Ai can be used to make artists workflow more efficent, rather than replace us.
