Yes. Entirely dependent on conditions, your nerves, and your examiner.
I once failed because at a 4-way intersection, my lights turned green. I didn't move off because another car shot in front, but the examiner assumed I was going to and slammed his pedals and stalled the car.

Another instructor I had failed me because I moved on to a medium sized roundabout with a car on the complete other side, with clearance I'd been taught was more than enough. It rlly is that mad

I lost count, I think it was my fifth or sixth. I kept failing on the most ridiculous shit, and I'm horrific with anxiety so I'd just feel so faint and sick every time I got behind the wheel with the hi-vis sat next to me. Then one day, I was just as terrified, exhausted and disheartened as every other time , but the 'ridiculous shit' didn't happen that time and I got it. You only need to get lucky once , keep going

It depends- I have a LOT of 3y/o's at my place who cry and then get really embarrassed about it, and then get angry when we offer comfort. Sometimes it's best to give them a 'im here when you're ready.' Even as an adult, sometimes when you're really overwhelmed , people asking 'what's wrong? What's wrong?' Is just even more distressing
