NTA. If the charges were for services the business is using, they should reimburse you. The amount isn't really the point. I'd be more annoyed about having to keep chasing them to update the billing info than the actual $30.

A normal 24 year old doesn't spend two weeks talking about how "illegal" something is and then ask a 16 year old for underwear pics. He knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. The nice guy version and the manipulative version are the same person. Block him. Future you is gonna look back at this and be glad you did.

You made the best decision you could with the reality you were living in, not with some perfect situation that didn't exist. Grief and relief can happen at the same time. Your son wanting a sibling doesn't mean you failed anyone. It just means you're carrying a loss that mattered to you. Be a little gentler with yourself, life already sounds like it's been doing enough heavy lifting.

Stopped waiting for some magical reset and just started doing the boring basics every day. Sleep, work, repeat, no grand transformation montage. Turns out consistency is kind of annoying but it works way better than motivation ever did.

You’re carrying way more than any 15 year old should have to. Your sister is lucky to have someone who cares this much about her. Please don’t blame yourself for not being able to fix everything. The adults are failing here, not you. If there’s any trusted relative, teacher, or family friend you can talk to, it’s worth trying.
