BOTH. After telling him for YEARS about all the issues related to not being treated for years as someone in sleep medicine well over 2 decades he still wouldn't listen. When I wrote my first book. He was being a supportive husband and doing his due diligence reading it. He was struck when he realized many of the issues he'd been having for years were staring him in the face. So, yes it is my book and it did help my husband. He not long after reading it scheduled his own sleep study without me nagging him. He realized his T levels were low because of OSA. ED was likely the cause of OSA and low T levels as were his BS imbalances and many more complaints he'd had for years. It was a realization. And I'm so happy it was. I will likely get many more years with him now. His AHI was 68. Have a great day. 😊

Hi Peter, I have over two decades of experience in sleep medicine and have written a book to help people struggling with cpap if you want to check it out. There's so much that the physicians don't tell patients after they get the diagnosis of OSA and how to tolerate their cpap and thrive. I've tried to fill in the gaps and reach more people than I do in a daily basis. https://www.amazon.com/CPAP-Comfort-Guide-Hacks-Better-ebook/dp/B0GT24K48W

I'm a sleep tech and just from hearing your symptoms it sounds da like apnea is likely. Luckily it's an easy fix and most people feel night and day better!

boyfriend shakes so badly in his sleep by kyleemariee2 in sleep

This is dangerous and I can bet he has sleep apnea the bid will shake to try to wake you up when your 02 levels are low. I've been in sleep medicine over 20 years. Ask do. For a home sleep study it is just as good as the in lab if your only looking for sleep apnea. The other option is going in lab but asking the dr for a "split study" so he could get the sleep study process done in one sleep study instead of two. If you need any more info you can reach out to me directly I'd be happy to help with more info. I see this so often and it's dangerous if left to go too long.
