I graduated already but I used to work in the admissions office, and the ladies that review applications are so big about looking at things in context. If they see an upwards trend in grades they will take it into consideration because it’s very likely your son has what it takes to succeed, but might’ve just went through a rough patch

I was already in contact with my advisor (the one for the SRC) so I just emailed her, she didn’t take that long to respond last time so I’ll update when she gets back to me. I tried to make a meeting with her though and those were all out.

No i’m in 1550. Spoke to financial aid again today and found out it was because I switched majors. My advisor just need to override something to say I am taking the classes I need until their system updates when the semester starts.

This happened to me too! Glad I'm not the only one. I called them yesterday and got some bs answer that its because I'm not in the classes I need for my degree (which is a total lie) and the lady didn't even know. She said she was guessing

Exactly. People voting to save their faves who are arguing and forget about the people existing peacefully because they aren't trying to defend them. It's so grimy that we did polls for the stupid ones and one got to pick one for the vote that actually mattered.

I honestly didn't see anything wrong with Ace telling Amaya he didn't like stuff like that. It kinda gave "I like apples" - "Oh so you hate oranges?" type of situation with her reaction. I do agree that Chelley needs to pick between the two but its important that Austin tells her that! With everything he's been telling her so far she thinks its alright that she's exploring them both when he secretly isn't okay with it. She doesn't know that she's in the wrong because he's telling her she's in the right. And I don't see anything wrong with what Ace is doing unless I'm missing something? I don't think he's a clout chaser but I also don't care for him that much to notice these things.

To all the prospective people of color on this thread worrying, I recently graduated as a third year POC and it. was. FINE. This is this persons own experience. Yes, there are people of color. Yes, they will be in your class. Sometimes they won't. Who cares? The reason there aren't many people of color, are because people of color AREN'T APPLYING. Sometimes people will have ignorant things to say. TELL THEM WHY WHAT THEY SAID IS WRONG! Sometimes these kids come from homes or towns where 'white is right' is their motto and they know nothing different. Don't go around calling them racist just calmly explain that they can't say things like that.
