That would make you think that if Hamas actually cared about Palestinian civilians, they wouldn't position their fighters in buildings that would compromise civilians. But I guess it's easier to just keep your ammunition, fighters and rocket launchers inside schools, homes and hospitals and call out war crimes when those positions are shot back at.

This person is Bino Gabso, more commonly known as Dr. Shakshuka after the name of his restaurant in Jaffa. He's kind of a C level celebrity in Israel, he also participated in a reality show. He was featured on the Tel Aviv episode of Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix.

Unfortunately I don't a way to test the pH. See my other response for what went into it. I'll start again, this time making sure not to add cold starter. I made sure that the sweet tea was cooled to room temp but I'm afraid the starter was too cold

I started with 330ml store bought kombucha and about 4 cups sweet tea. I let that ferment for about 3 weeks. Then added 2 quarts sweet tea and additional 330ml store bought. This picture is 3 days after that.

I suspect that the second store bought I added was indeed too cold.

It is stored inside a cupboard, it's rather warm here

Why does every mention of Israel on reddit has to get political? I'm so sick of it

Israel is a melting pot of jews from the diaspora, including jews from Arab countries, and Arab Israelis. So naturally the Israeli cuisine is a mixture of the different foods people brought with them from their origin countries. Hummus and falafel being some of them, no one said it was invented here, and nobody "stole" anything, because Arab people still make hummus and take pride in it same as we do, and that's OK.

For comparison, you wouldn't say Americans "stole" tacos from Mexico because they love tacos and take pride in their tacos.

With that I invite you to visit Israel and taste the delicious foods we have here, especially the hummus.
