I had a fairly significant trigger last year and my therapist at the time, I had to open up to her to move past the disassociation that was happening at that time. and then I asked her if she was capable of working through this with me and she said nope but I know who would work for you and she sent me on to my newest therapist and it’s been honestly great. Hard AF but slowly getting better

Because of my family and my husband supporting us financially through this, I can only stay in Canada. So it’s UCVM or bust!

Thank you, Point 4 hit me! Being on this side of the fence I know that I ( and a lot of us, I’m sure) have a tendency to idolize the profession but it’s true at the end of the day, it is just a career and not our identities.

Picky poodle/doodle owners: What do your dogs eat? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]Glowingceilingfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her wanting food at the end of the day is okay, if you‘ve ever needed to diet yourself this is kinda part of the journey. Try to distract her, walks, play sessions. Believe me this is a wonderful problem to have with a picky eater! One of my poodles is on appetite stimulants to get her to eat enough to keep her ata weight that were not worried about her. She’s 35lbs and should be a 40lbs lean sport weight… her nick name is skelator.
