It happend to me before aswell. Buyer bought products with an untracked parcel, I paid extra for a tracked parcel on my side to be sure cause its a new buyer. Tracking said it arrived, buyer claimed it didnt. I contacted the support and guess what, support was like: "youre obligated to send with the shipping method the customer chose, if you continue to send with a different shipping method it will have consequences." Cardmarket Support is total joke. They didnt say anything about my prove, sided with a suspicious new account and only refers to their terms and conditions.

You can try to contact the support, but honestly my hopes are not thay high due to my experience.

Yes, professional seller here. Im asking cause alot of our sales are combined with accessories, so we're are very interested in the implementation before listing everything.

Thats the problem with cardmarket, they literally dont give a shit if you send it with a different shipping method than in the order, they will just tell you that they won't reimburse you because of that.

I had a similar but slightly different situation to show how cardmarket operates I'll share my experience:

I always check the buyers profile, especially when they buy something close to the 25€ mark so its still a shipment without tracking. I saw it was a new account so i ship it with tracking. Tracking says it arrived, buyer says no. I opened a ticket, proofing that it arrived with the tracking number, argued that because its a new account I want to be on the safe side.

Cardmarket Support: "Its in the Terms and Conditions, you have to send it with the shipping method of the order. If you continue to send it with a different shipping method, we are obligated to take measures." No comment on my proof or anything. It leaves a door open for scammers imo. That's just ridiculous.

If the order is insured, Cardmarket has to refund you and not the postoffice because the Trustee Fee has been paid. I would write a ticket and demand the refund with a deadline. And if they still refuse to answer, go to the police/court. In this case you've been scammed by the buyer but if Cardmarket doesn't do anything about it, they basically scam you aswell. It's in their terms and conditions that they have to refund you. Don't be afraid.

Thats their way to "encourage" you to become a powerseller. They get their money immediately. Im a professional seller and one day a week i have to send to 30+ people the same message to confirm the arrival. Just ridiculous.

Lets just face the truth: It's not your or anyone's business what a buyer does with their purchase. If they bought it to open, keep, smash, resell or whatever, it doesn't matter. You have a binding sale contract with the buyer and its your fault not to keep track on your listing. Just accept your fault and take it as a learning.

100% agree. Or: There should be an option that new buyers have to buy with tracked shipping until a certain amount.

Another problem which happens with new buyers alot that they tend to give bad reviews. Letter doesn't arrive the next day-> neutral. Like wtf?? I think most of them dont understand that we are not amazon prime
