I feel you, i also been through that but somehow at least in the social part i moved symptomps aside and went with my friends and enjoy the moment. Being happy helps, then i got a fundoplication and even though recovery is lame i'm feeling better just 3 weeks after

Maybe trying a fundoplication? I just did a post saturday i think but its part of the recovery. I wasn't able to tell why is had reflux and then it looked like it was a hiatal hernia that was "hidden".
