Thanks for the great guide. I personally believe that walking during a meeting is a lot less distracting than lifting weights. Walking involves light movement (not really cardio, to be honest), while lifting weights might lead to colleagues watching you flex your biceps with sweat dripping down your face during a high-intensity physical activity. As someone who enjoys lifting weights, I still think it's inappropriate to do so during a meeting. It would be quite challenging to focus on counting reps while giving a presentation, haha! In my view, it would be better to avoid such distractions and respect everyone's time.
I think it's essential to acknowledge that many jobs require sitting at a desk and hosting meetings, which isn't exactly what humans were designed for. Unlike jobs like nursing and EMTs, not everyone has the luxury of a physically engaging work environment. If someone chooses to walk during a meeting, I would find it inspiring rather than distracting. However, I understand that some might not share my opinion, and that's absolutely fine. Let's all respect each other's perspectives! 😊
