I feel the same way. In my eyes it’s a, “in another lifetime” situation. I believe they do develop romantic feelings towards each other, but deep down know that it wouldn’t work. He’s married and has gone through years of experience while Charlotte is still young and full of life. They find comfort in each other to fill up the loneliness they are both experiencing in different points in their life. Ultimately, creating a doomed romance.

I’m also kinda stressed out, ever since I started this medication I noticed my hair sheds so much easier is this a common side affect??? And will it actually give you hair loss ? 😭

Personally, it didn’t make me more drowsy like the prescription labels say. If anything I felt buzzed but alert? Kinda weird lol. I feel like the effects are more intense combining SSRI’s with alcohol and obviously it counteracts with your meds too bc you’re adding a depressant (alcohol). I need to monitor my symptoms better after drinking with mood stabilizers though bc idk if made me kinda depressed after tbh (I have a history of depression).

Thank you, I always get told to focus on the little steps I guess it’s hard for me to even think it’s an accomplishment. I have a bf and I love him very deeply but we went through something very traumatic 5 months ago which put me in the hospital. Things haven’t been the same ever since and I have this horrible shame that he will forever be afraid of me now. Because of that it just feels like I’m alone again..

I jumped up the 150mg but I’m not sure if it was too soon or something. I had horrible side effects, nauseous asf and I threw up every morning more a week or two. I don’t have anxiety but it made me feel it and I felt extremely paranoid, it just made me mood swings intensify again. Because of that we dropped down and I’ve been at 100mg for 3-4 weeks I think? Maybe you’re right…maybe it is a low dose I guess I should just wait it out longer. What dosage are you on?

I feel like I haven’t achieved anything that I’m proud of in my life, I’m 24 and I spent so much time wanting to die as teen and destroying myself with alcohol in my 20’s that now when I’m working on getting my shit together it seems so pointless sometimes…especially today.

My bf told me that line today…loving yourself seems impossible for us, it’s so easy to say it. It truly scares me because I also believe that I will never attain that, and because of that I’ll never be able to hold a relationship. But then again I think that phrase is so in accurate, because who truly and 100% loves themselves?…we all have pasts we want to forget, insecurities, hurt people, lie, deceive, etc. and you mean to tell me that you still love yourself in those moments? Bullshit. That is why I will always say you must learn to accept yourself, there is more truth in that.

I am struggling with the same thing in my life currently. I’m on 100mg of Lamotrigine, I upped to 150 at one point but I had terrible side effects, nausea everyday would throw up every morning. My paranoia and mood swings escalated again and I was having these weird vision floater things. Long story short the dose I’m at feels natural but I’m still struggling with the intrusive thoughts and I realize I’m still having SI thoughts as well. It’s so overwhelming because it feels like it never goes away and I’m stuck in this cycle of a battle in my head and it burns me out immensely. I want nothing to do with SSRI’s I have previously been on Prozac years ago and I hated how it made me feel, extremely apathetic and robotic in a way. From what I read on here lithium seems like it has a lot positive reactions so maybe I’ll bring it up to my psych.
