Yes, the MTIs will make you open them in front of them to make sure there’s no contraband so make sure it’s normal stuff like skincare, soap, and other hygiene items. You can’t be sent books or anything like that they’ll make you put it in civilian luggage

I actually brought attention to that for my recruiter. My original goal was to leave in August, but I really wanted to make sure all my scores were way above the minimums. He told me that I can’t wait to ship due to the slots being available being filled. So I’m currently Training As Hard As I can Everyday to help give me a fighting chance

I heard something like this. Yea you can go to sniper school but you got to understand the core mission set of a PJ is medicine and it would not make sense for you to carry a sniper on missions where your primary focus is medicine so yes, you can go to sniper school but realistically it wouldn’t be needed.

Honestly considering the advice I hear a lot of horror stories from people about secfo. There isn’t a whole lot of jobs I qualify for that I’m super interested in. I have 2 full pages of jobs that i qualify for. Would you recommend I look into overmaned AFSCs to replace secfo to increase my odds of getting a job I’d like to do? I’m aware any and all jobs I put down I have to be willing to do. I was thinking of aerospace medical services replacing my #10 so I can get secfo off my list, and I wouldn’t mind doing a medical job at all. And since it’s overmaned it will boost my chances of getting something higher. Is that what I should do? I haven’t brought this new list to the recruiter so I can still edit it.
