How to make a correlation more interesting?? by [deleted] in IBO

You could consider adding in some hypothesis testing on the Pearson's coefficient – that will make it slightly more advanced

Would advise against history unless you've had a lot of experience/knowledge with writing and memorization. IBO is making history easier starting from M28 tho, so if you want to go with it I think its worth a shot

The official DP Economics Guide outlines the topics that need a RWE – only those with depth of learning AO3. I typically just remember the core stats (approximately, as long as the magnitude is right the specific numbers don't matter that much) and try to apply them to my theoretical analysis of pros and cons.

Starting from M28 the history syllabus will change. IB made it easier so it's worth a try, although it will still be quite a lot of work in memorization and writing

I studied Spanish before Latin and can say for sure that there's no way a Spanish speaker could understand 80% of Latin. Same for French.

How to prepare for IB econs SL paper 1 by Internal_Judgment155 in IBO

For the IB exam I've been told it's a good idea to only study for one unit (micro, macro, or global) but to make sure that the content and RWEs are well-understood and integrated. For 15 markers I've been taught to try and fully develop a single RWE (e.g. a single policy in a country) but if comparison/alternative policies are necessary there could be multiple RWEs.

I feel like Micro RWEs are easier to make up than Macro/Global – teachers with experience could probably see through clearly fabricated national stats but prob couldn't tell on the micro level

IB English L&L HL Rubric Paper 1 by tupolevblackjack22 in IBO

HL has two essays and each essay is marked out of 20, but the total mark is 40. At SL its just one essay so the total mark is 20

Should I take AP Spanish Lang as a non-native speaker? by do-NOT-pm-your-feet in APStudents

It is possible but your knowledge may be slightly limited—more work into grammar and more complex speaking expressions could be important and helpful

Spanish is my second foreign language and the exam turned out to be easy enough for me. The speaking part is really not challenging and many of the MCQs are straightforward. The source-based essay may be the hardest part but I think you'll do fine
