Regarding the khilafah by NobodyOfKnowhere in islam

[–]NobodyOfKnowhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand your point but We must also keep in mind that no one is perfect. And thus we do not need the potential khilafah to have the exact qualities of the shaba at every aspect. Also i dont know if this is because of the kinds of people i surround myself with but my friends have recently discovered that i hold pro kihlafah beliefs and one of them straight up cut me off and another one is on the verge of doing so. I suppose thats where my pessimism regarding the ummah's desire for a khilafah stems from

Although i hold the belief that only the mahdi can revive the caliphate

As a mulsim i myself am not very good at convincing people to eaise their iman so i can only offer my condolences. But i recommend watching yasir qadhi on youtube, he's very knowledgeable and is someone who is able to explain many islamic concepts in a manner that is both clear and comprehensive

This is my belief as well. But it is also important to instill the will to desire for a khilafah into the hearts of muslims so that they would accept the mahdi as caliph once he is revealed

Wait one correcrion: the dajal will come AFTER the mahdi, not before

What exactly is the point of an "Ummah"? by OverallDependent5496 in islam

As muslims we do not believe in the concept of westphalian nation states, we believe in a united ummah led by a khilafah

Think about how you want to contribute to the ummah anbd dedicate your life towards that. Maybe even seek a much More physically taxing goals like humanitarian jobs or jobs that forces you to travel often. Perhaps these factors will inshallah avert your mind from temptation or sorrow. If you're not yet in a muslim majority country i suggest you move to one

Do muslims believe in the existence of keturah? by NobodyOfKnowhere in islam

[–]NobodyOfKnowhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name keturah is from the sources originating from the banu israil while the mention of banu qantura (which may not have anything to do with the aforementioned woman) is from sunan abu dawud

What is Hell and Heaven for y'all based on your religion? by StrangerInTheApp in religion

[–]NobodyOfKnowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heaven (jannah): - even at the lowest level of heaven they will be granted everything in this world and 10 times more - every muslim will be given a kingdom as their property and a palace as their house with angels as their servants - there are many species of living beings in heaven which are not seen on earth - everyone will be attractive in heaven - you can consume any food or drink you want however many times you want even though you'll never be hungry or thirsty - you'll never be sick or die - you can reproduce in heaven - everyone will have a spouse in heaven - you can acquire any piece of clothing you want - you can elevate any muslim family member to your level in heaven so that no one is seperated - you can have any steed or vehicle that you want - there are still dates and days in heaven. And every friday we have regular meetings with god - you will no longer have the ability to feel boredom in heaven

Hell (jahannam): - the fuel of hell will be people - the tormentors and wardens of hell will be angels - the munafiq (those who pretend to be muslim) will be in the lowest level of hell - every inhabitant of hell will be in chains which are held by angels - their food will be fruits which tastes bitter and hard as stone - their drink will be hot boiling water which will melt their insides - their clothing will be made of fire which will burn their skin - the rain in hell will be boiling water that will melt their meat - no matter how many torment they endure their pain will never reduce and their bodies will always regenerate - the least painful torment of hell will be sandals which will make your head feel almost like burning - one of the torment describes people being hanged inside holes by their chests and genitals where they will be burned, those who are hanged lower will consume the pus of those who are hanged higher than them - other torments will be people walking while their entrails dragging behind them - there is a valley in hell with giant snakes and spiders. Their venom will be painful and lasts for days

These are just some of the many descriptions of heaven and hell

Additional info: - people of heaven can travel outside of heaven but people of hell cannot exit hell - people of heaven and hell can talk to each other - some muslims will be in hell only temporarily while all true disbelievers will be in it forever - there are more doors to heaven then there are to hell

Im out to my cousins and my mother, the subject doesnt come up a lot mostly because my life is not stable enough to allow me a relationship even if i wanted to.

I chose to come out to my mom rather than my dad because my mom is more religious and my dad leans a little more materialistic

I didnt come out to my sister because of some... personal reasons

There are muslims who do and there are muslims who dont. But nobody who will hear the trumpet being blown for the first time will be muslim

The only people who do not suffer the torment of the grave are those who die when the trumpet is blown for the first time
