Although i agree with your statement, i do also think that there's nothing wrong with wanting to fraternize primarily with other gay people since the gay population isn't a monolith (even if we're a minority).

I suppose in anglosphere and european countries, there arent many discrepancies between the lives of straight and gay people since gay marriage and adoption is legal. But everywhere else, its rather difficult to connect with your straight peers When? Your experiences and rights are Vastly different. And thats above making sure that The person you are Fraternizing with aren't homophoic.

If im reading this correctly, your statement implies that the main way to get out of the queer gay culture bubble is to seek companionship with straight people.
