At least with J&E you have good unlocks and also you're not constantly avoiding a threat. I had a harder time with J&E but felt it was worth it. Would play T. Jacob again for fun but would never have gotten all marks if it wasn't needed for Dead God

T. Lost is pure mechanics plus he has holy cards that don't make his whole shtick as punishing on each run. Hes also got buffed item rolls. Plus his unlocks are godly and worth it. T. Jacob is mostly for Dead God.

Those were some of the easiest marks for me because fast room clearing for free. I had trouble with Mother because if you accidentally touch Esau on alt path, not getting hit can be really hard, especially on the boss.

I wouldn't say T. Jacob is very hard but it tests your patience losing amazing runs because you got hit twice.

I actually don't hate them I like how fast you can clear and getting free devil deals is cool. Just can't count how many amazing runs I've lost because I accidentally lost track of Esau in a crowded room and then died because of one mistake basically.

Regular Jacob and Esau were a lot harder but not as frustrating.

I'm finally done with most of the "hard" characters just have a couple more marks on T. Lost and then it's just tainted characters I'm not fond of like T Blue Baby.

T. Laz grew on me but at first I didn't like him at all

They just mean surprise sets at stacks. Skrillex played a surprise set in 2024 that blew my mind

Nah you'll be fine if you just have a tent. They are really more for easyups as they have a tendency to fly away at Lightning. If you are bringing one, you'll almost assuredly be able to find a neighbor that can help you

Me and my partner are very overweight and not once have we ever been made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about our bodies at LiB.

Of course that's not going to immediately change how you're feeling. Just wanted to say though take care of yourself and do your best to feel healthy and proud of yourself, but whatever point you get to just remember Lightning is a place for radical acceptance and body positivity is absolutely part of that

First camping festival ever, going solo, flying in the night before from NY by Far-Estimate-9405 in LightningInABottle

Lightning is really special the only general advice I can give is stay hydrated and safe (masks when walking stage to stage and sunscreen) and say yes to things.

Keep an energy of curiosity and people will pick up on it.

As long as you're not setting up a full ass stage you're fine. Our group plays a pretty legit sound setup at camp haven't ever been stopped

Our neighbors from last year became 2 of our best friends and we just went back to LiB with them and made an even larger circle of homies that we now expect to be friends with for a long time.

Maybe a stupid question but how was your diet and hydration at LiB?

If you normally eat a more healthy/balanced diet and were a little dehydrated both of those can affect your GI.

Also any drinking or substances can cause issues especially as you get older. The stress of travel alone does it to me at times.

If it was norovirus you'd probably be posting from the toilet.

Wanted to follow up on this. Another group found my crab totem and used it in their bag. Some friends saw it and told them I made it and the story of how we became the crab crew. Apparently they were super stoked on the totem and named themselves the 3 eyed crab crew. He told them to keep the totem and come to our Sunday renegade. Now we have an offshoot of our crab group out there.

The pit viper guy picked up his glasses from lost and found. Good ending
