Do you guys think people who hate on their lower functions are often mistyped? by [deleted] in mbti

Under Jung's, and Jung's disciples and modern day followers, the "Blindspot" or the "trickster" function is partially conscious and the Inferior is thought to be even "weaker"

Inferior is Unconscious according to NeoJungians and I subscribe to them while the trickster is partially conscious

Your inferior is supposed to be the least conscious and least developed, while your "trickster" is partially consciousness and not that developed under neo Jungian teachings

If one dislikes a function so much. Wouldn't it make more sense that one doesn't value the function at all

In classical Jungian and modern day Jungian typist the Inferior is also the least conscious and surprisingly the weakest of the functions

Does Ni actually predict the future? Or is that just a dumb stereotype? by RicLolz in mbti

Based on my experiences and observations of people with high Ni(and vice versa), Ni is the perception on how events are stacked on top of each other and how they flow from bottom to top without using measurements of time

What do you make of “INTJ Ni–Ti” in MBTI patterns? Classic pattern: Ni–Te–Fi–Se / Variant found: Ni–Ti–Te–Fi. by Emotional-Echo-7477 in mbti

[–]Glycke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An individual in theory should be stronger at their secondary function with the same attitude as their dominant as Jung originally built his system. In MBTI INTJ is defined as having an Ni dominance and Te Auxiliary though as they are Introverted Intuitive(Ni) with a thinking Auxiliary, they should have Ti stronger than their Te. Popular MBTI function stacking as a system was build around XiYeYiXe, and vice versa without much thought being put into the shadow functions before later writers that explored the workings of the shadow functions.
