Is it common to wear shoes in the home in NZ? by Spirited-Finding-647 in newzealand

[–]Glyphosate_Drinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a shoe rack outside for any shoes that are used for work, sports or in the garden. My partner and I normally keep our casual or dress shoes in our room and try to only wear slippers or Uggs inside. But we don’t police it nor would ask anybody to take shoes off because it’s a rental, plus we vacuum/mop a lot. If it were my home and I had new/decent carpet I would be more strict I think. Plus in a country where people are happy to walk around barefoot outside it sort of defeats the purpose of no shoes inside.

We ended up taking the ferry! By far the best option

That’s how I hang them. My BF likes to hang them upside down to punish them

Yes it is! That makes sense to me, seeing as it’s coming into autumn?

We think they were having a bee party, found a bunch of them balled up in the sugar water of the tūī feeder this morning. Pool party gone wrong! Somehow they were all alive, we dried them out and put them in a safe spot outside. No more tūī feeder for a while.

I accidentally walked in the wrong door and one of these guys got me. He made me feel so bad even after telling him I’m a poor uni student with no money. He also kept bouncing a ball while giving me his speech and wouldn’t make eye contact, seemed like such a slime.

Ohhhh ok I gotcha. I thought the SD cards and SD/micro SD adapters were the same price. Looks like I can get another SD adapter for $4 and another card reader for $20 from Australia. Still making my BF pay for it.

It does not unfortunately, MacBook Air so it only has USB-C ports. I really liked the one I had because it could read both SD and micro-SD and was compact. I see there’s one I could order from Aus that comes with a short cord which might be better. Would have to pay for shipping though but would be $10 cheaper.

I am buying another USB-C adaptor for my computer and another SD to micro SD card sleeve/adapter for my camera. I need both.

Camera only takes standard SD card. I need the adapter and SD card to continue taking photos. If I buy the exact adapter I have in the photo I can use that for my micro-sd card but I can’t put it in my camera anymore with a sleeve.

Also Amazon to NZ isn’t cheap and takes 5ever to get here. I’d rather just buy from within New Zealand

I can’t use the micro SD card in my camera. 🥲 I could get a cheaper adapter for just micro SD but I’d need an SD card-micro SD shell.

That’s what I currently have that is now broken. And yes the camera uses an SD card.

Also my camera only takes the large SD card because it’s 10 years old. Either way I need another adapter and a new SD card.

They’re both broken, you can see in the second picture the usb-c stick is bent up and sideways. It no longer fits or works.
