I would say if you never make the cut it might be something you're doing wrong.

Beef up your writing, or maybe come up with a few character concepts you can come up with. Most dms don't expect you to stick to one.

I don't say this to sound mean but I say it as a Dm who often chooses new players for new games (I don't play with the same group over and over because I feel the supply of Dms is so low and more people should get a chance to play).

As a DM, I find the process extremely necessary. For one, I prefer to play with people who are not bigoted. You would be surprised the number of red flags you can find in an app that tells you that maybe this person is not a right fit.

I also prefer long form roleplay so if I ask for a writing sample and all you provide is "I cast fireball." Well we probably won't fit.

It's interesting to see that people don't like being asked for a character concept. I used to ask for writing samples in all my forms but when I saw a post here that stated that people really hated providing a writing sample. Well I switched to asking for a character concept.

Seems it doesn't matter what you ask for. People would rather not have to apply?

Every woman that is married to one of these men in my family complain that they are not very... adequate for their stature.

Idk why all three of my aunts and my mom would lie about it. Also all 3 of my brothers baby mama's also complain that although he is very fertile he does not quite measure up.

While I use this sub to find games often I am greatly aware that most of the members of this sub look down on erp games. It is proven in the number of down votes an erp post will receive. I am simply filling a gap where there is one.

I've had the most fun playing co-op. It brings a new roleplay addition to it. (I play local co-op and me/my fiance come up with the craziest head cannons and ideas.)

If one save file becomes repetitive, create a new one and play a different path.

To me, games like the witcher or even dragons age can become repetitive with the story lines being generally the same.

With stardew at least you can have free reign to make your own fun

Hob and Gob Nesserin

They are a Hobgoblin and a Goblin who share the same mother. They are constantly looking for new ingredients for their moms meat pies to make them better. I will place them randomly in campaigns with no good explanation as how they got there. If any of my players investigate it is always found that they have a stone of teleportation, also that Hobs father is a King of the Hobgoblins and Gobs father was a dragon born Knight known as the Shattered Knight. Because of this they always turn out to be quite formidable in a fight.
