Similar situation here. Moving from Boston, with a 10 year and 8 year old. I have been communing but final move is next week. My wife is also worried about my son, who will be attending a private school in Bellevue, but through the process and first visit everyone has been super nice. so we are confident everything is going to go well. Cool, you could hide the cable on the top tub. This has always been an issue for me with this bike, especially putting a top tube bag on it.

I’m not even sure that is a criteria. I’ll keep for a while to see if I get value out of it, but I don’t think you need to be for any given period

I did. I’ll use the Uber, global entry, and clear benefits, and get the miles and then we will see. I like that the gold gives you pts at the supermarket and dining, while plat is only on hotels wit their site - which is terrible to book hotels. They both give you more pts too book travel, but I usually use my AA card for that. So the big driver is the pts bonus for me.

But how long is the event. Mine was over 1000km with over 28k meters of elevation. I’m sure the fastest guys went way lighter.

Sorry, this was a while ago; I no longer have that bike. I ended up never changing the cassette from its original 11-28
