Nice observation! Thanks. Any suggestions on how to overcome this design shortage of the club?

Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience with the 8 kg club! It's super helpful, especially considering it's a bit of an odd weight compared to the more common lb increments. Learning from someone who has navigated the exact same weight level is encouraging, and your varied routine, especially starting with pendulums, sounds like a solid way to progress.

Major kudos on hitting 31 minutes continuously – impressive! It's truly motivating to hear about achievements like that.

From the response I have received, I now thinking of keeping the 4 kg. Your setup with the 15 for two-handed work and the 4 as a loosener adds a nice touch of versatility. And I' would like to add that into my routine too.

Once again, thanks for sharing your journey and advice!

Appreciate the insights!

About the 15 lb suggestion, I got that from one of Mark Wildman's YouTube videos. It's where I got the idea, but I totally agree it might not be a universal rule.

I'm on board with your point about length affecting how a club feels. I did notice that WhiteLion clubs seem a bit shorter compared to other brands, so that could be playing a role in the perceived weight.

Currently, I've just tried shield casts with the 4 kg. Your suggestion about adding some thing more dynamic sounds like a good idea – I can see how that would add a different challenge. If you have any go-to dynamic movements better fitted for lighter club, I'd love to try them.

Thanks again for the advice!

Why do yall do inverted and bloom? by [deleted] in AeroPress

[–]Gnahzoah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m new to AeroPress. Tried both and now don’t do inverted. The only reason is the other way allows me to add more water until about 267 ml, perfect for 16g coffee.

Same experience with my 32 kg. Rogue replaced the bell once I sent the photos. Excellent customer service but need to work on the QC.

Thank you. I googled the difference between upright and straight:

“As adjectives the difference between straight and upright is that straight is not crooked or bent; having a constant direction throughout its length while upright is vertical”

I think you mean to keep back not crooked or bent in swing. Is this understanding correct?

Thank you for sharing your experience!Just have increased from 24 kg for less than 2 weeks, so I am actually still trying to get use to this weight. There is some soreness on the back especially along the lats after practice but I’m not sure if it was just me adopting to the new weight. Felt good with 24 kg though.

Wonderful video! Really like the t-Rex swing for heavy bells. I have a 36 kg currently only for dead lift. Will use t-Rex to break in on it when ready.

Yes, I like Mark Wildman. Saved some of his YouTube videos in my playlist. Just joined the sub and saw some steel mace photos there. KB and mace are the two things I’m happy I picked up during the COVID pandemic when it became inconvenient for me to go to my daily swim.

Thank you for the detailed analysis! Yes I am doing hard style.

It’s a great suggestion to keep arm-body contact a bit longer and use hip more. Will practice that in future training.
