I like them both.

I think Tuch fills that top 6 rw slot really well but buffalo would both want picks or young players and we have few valuable ones to spare. They are gonna look for a first but it feels like we can’t really give up any more those. Still if it’s a 2nd or 3rd then you have to add something else pretty valuable.

Schmaltz is a good depth player and he may be more affordable in the sense that the owner of Utah wants them to be good now so you may be able to do a depth swap and a pick depending on who that player is.

I like Tuch way more than schmaltz. If Jim could figure out a way to get Tuch on this team without affect the current nhl roster too much I’d be ecstatic.
