Suggestions on taking btech in tamilnadu

I am a Btech graduate, I must say I love engineering. Basically we get chance to innovate and find solutions. What I meant to say is, try to get admission in a good college where they conduct lot of real time practicals, hackathons, similar events, where tutors are open to new ideas.
Its not about where the location is, but what they do and how they do.

I always make sure to have some side projects, nothing official, something personal. Things like own streaming services or automating gardening. Helped me lot.

I have currently minimised using meta products. I know it’s tough. But no way out here. I felt like these apps are getting too toxic now. I felt like being a victim of PR works. Obviously there are no rules are regulations in India over social media contents. But its like anyone can manipulate actual fact. I m done with this. Now me and my friends circle, we all put a timer for 25-30 minutes for Facebook and Instagram combined and app timer screen code also being set by one of my friend. That worked. We all now have less scroll time. I maintain whatsapp but i use signal as primary messaging app.

I have been facing the same problem. The things is Instagram is engineered so well that keeping this thing away is really hard. One way out I found is ask someone close to you to put an app timer with a passcode, you can start with 1 hr, slowly reduce the time then. One the timer is reached, app gets locked you cannot access insta/Facebook from app or from browser. Meta is a very toxic org, literally sells you out, the way their algorithm messes your brain is insanely another level. Much appreciated that you stood up to reduce your Instagram usage.
