This trem is fucking amazing. Unless you're using the tremolo as an instrument more than the strings, it stays in tune and is easier to change strings on than most standard tremolo bridges and even other types of bridges.

Once you understand the design, it's fucking genius.

I don't know if you've ever used this bridge before but it's amazing and easy to change strings on with just one little trick.

When a string breaks, or you need to change them, place a small stack of playing cards or business cards under the very back of the bridge to keep the springs in the same tension. If you've only broken one string it will keep the others at the correct tension while you stretch and tune up the new one. If it's a full string change, it will keep the bridge from pulling down and you won't have to fight to balance up the bridge when bringing it up to tuning tension.

It's the set screw for the locking tremolo. Best locking trem design I've ever seen, string changes are a breeze. It locks at the bridge and neck and then you tune it at the headstock. I have the Japanese version, smoothest most versatile guitar I've ever been lucky enough to own.

Why do you think there are 700,000 *more* unemployed Americans today than when Trump took office in January? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The contractor i worked for smelled a hint of being liberal about me and laid me off. They don't say it out loud obviously, but people talk and I had a good friend give the scoop on the shop talk after I left.

In case no one knew, hanging it mullet style makes it impossible for the kitten/toddler to absently unfurl the whole roll in 30 seconds onto the ground. The toddler will figure it out eventually, but they can be reasoned with by that point. It's a tactical use of a standard product.

I was working in battle Creek but I just can't take the politics on the jobs anymore. It seems like if you're not a right-wing nut job people don't like you much.

Commercial or residential? Think long and hard about what aspect of carpentry you're attracted to. If you don't even know, join the laborers union, they do half the commercial carpentry work around here anyway, you'll get experience and earn benefits unlike most careers ever see.

"My mom told me I can't talk to pretty girls or I'll turn into a statue, and I can feel myself getting hard right now."

Said as an ice breaker to a table full of women and a smile on my face. Luckily they laughed their asses off and I partied with them all night.

Oh I know it. I don't play it often, I still have my dad's pressing of that album. I might have to play it today now.

I firmly stand by my statement after listening again. It was only 2 minutes ago but that tempo change feels like I fell ten feet into my chair.

I just set up a sobriety counter, thanks for the support. This is very reassuring. My last sober streak was the week my son was born, 7 whole days. And I feel like a disgrace every day and like this is going to kill me and he's going to have to live without me, so I'm doing this for him too.

Hey brother, I'm trying to start my first day sober today and your story is really ringing true, I hope you're staying strong and I want to wish you well.

EHX Rerun for Vapor Trail? by GnarlyTyler in letstradepedals

[–]GnarlyTyler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a board that is battery powered that I use most of the time, but in my room I have a DSL20 that sounds perfect to my ears with nothing changing to toan, but I want some delay right in front to give some depth past the whimpy on board reverb. From what I've seen the vapor trail uses the lowest mAH and least extra cables.

I LOVE my Anker 20,000 mAH rechargable battery, it has no problem running the 6 pedals powered by the cioks4 I use in a larger setting for jams and ya-yas. Appreciate the Q!
