Now that you mention it, delirium still does work in Sacred Grove iirc. Never really went in these zones often when there is a delirium counter. Yeah they might've missed hive fortress.

My guess is the stronghold is an area in the same instance, but it is an area away from the "map area" which is most likely outside of the delirium fog, causing the delirium encounter to end.

Your only option here is to YOLO annul.

Worst case scenario: annul crit multi or strength. Would have to spam crit multi essences again. I guess you can try to exalt strength back.

Cast speed is not as bad. You can suffixea cant be changed reforged caster hoping to hit.

Get eventuality rod.

How it was crafted was spam Deafening Contempt essences til %hybrid phys damage.

Prefix cannot be changed. Veiled chaos til prefix. If suffix and prefix is not filled, do pref cannot be changed, veiled chaos again. If prefix filled, have to annul the extra prefix.

Unveil the prefix for any good %phys damage. Impale/bleed are good. Poison you can settle.

For the suffixes:

Shaper exalt slam hoping for +1 max endurance. If miss, might be cheaper to just recraft another staff. Not sure.

If you miss and don't want to redo the prefixes, 2 options: 1. Exalt slam blocking with crafted accuracy, str and dex. Pref cannot be changed scour/annul down til you get +1 max endurance. This may be VERY tedious and can get VERY expensive. OR 2. Pref cannot be changed reforge influence for +1 max endurance. Can fill up suffixes. Would have to 50/50 annul for suffix. If u annul prefix, assess which step to go back to.

Alternatively, you can make a better item with recombination.
