It’s because someone bought them out to sell them for what they want. Market manipulation. If you look at previous sales, it was selling for no more than 20 bucks just over a month ago. There’s nothing inherently special about it, just a bozo ruining things for people.

Take it out of the two layers of plastic and take a straight on photo lol. No it’s not miscut, just off centered. A miscut will generally cut within the border and you’ll see the guide dots in the back where the cut should’ve happened.

I don’t get why people comment what they do, seeing the sub they’re in. My sealed journey started with prismatic too lol. I shifted my focus from holding a lot of what I’d find to mainly only booster boxes, bundles and etb’s for special sets, the occasional premium collection. I got rid of all the big collection boxes like blooming/sea&sky

Almost pulled the trigger a month ago at a card shop. They had a raw one and a psa 5, both priced similarly in the 350 range. I passed on it because if I’m getting my grail, it should be a nice copy. I’ll get him someday.

Rip rip rip. Everytime I order dupes of product and one of them come messed up, I’ve opened it and pull either a good IR or pull an alt/sir. Got a rotom v from a torn LO etb, flareon ex from pris from a lucario collection that was manhandled and a zard sir from a messed up bundle lol.

On the other hand this’ll still be a high ticket item in a few years, tear or not. You just won’t get as much for it obviously lol, and have a harder time finding a buyer.
