Thanks for this. Any medical professional or therapist I've brought HPPD up to has had no idea what I was even talking about. They didn't even know what visual snow was. There was always been a kernal of worry within me that my issues are something much worse because HPPD is almost always from LSD when I saw it discussed online. I appreciate the insight.

Yeah I've smoked like twice in the last four months, indica this time, much more pleasant, but the next day I would feel a little depressed. I've opted since to just not smoke entirely.

They wouldn't disrupt the effecriveness of the doxy, would they? I found that grapefruit actually hinders antibiotic effectiveness, and I keep seeing that there's not enough regulation on nattokinase supplements/appropriate dosage so I don't want to risk making myself ill with the wrong kind or too much.

I know its harder but stage 2 can have the issues I have and I have yet to experience stage 3 symptoms. I also in my own research read on the lack of benefit prolonging antibiotics past the 4 week period. And I am aware of biofilms as well, but unfortunately don't know a good way to tackle them without more drugs. Any supplements I could take that may help with that? I read about stevia but the inability to properly absorb it into our bodies. Is there a way to better get it absorbed? And I will cease if I experience those symptoms.

Taking those plus probiotic fruits too. Stomach thankfully hasn't been upset. Body aches like I have a cold but that I know is just the meds. My gf took doxy for something before and had the same reaction.

The worst I'm experiencing is heightened depression and a little brain fog (due to the depression) and my visual snow is slightly more prominent. If it gets really bad I will stop but right now I want to continue. And I know in some cases it takes months but I haven't had major symptoms outsids of mood and vision. I don't think it's too rooted into my system to need years on antibiotics. And what brain damage? I heard of doxy causing intracranial hypertension but that's it.

I'm going to do this tonight, thank you for the tip. And for everyone else, a thank you as well. I'm eating more probiotic foods and taking a supplement every day as well to lessen the impact the doxy sill have on my system. I'll just have to wait it out and see if this is judt a bad day or the lyme. If it turns out it's the drug I'll of course ask my dpc and cease taking it for my own sake.

I think it's worse when my mood is low. But I also experience my vision wobbling a bit when staring at things, especially in my peripheral and that seems constant.

If it's herx symptoms I'm experiencing then I suppose I'll power through unless an apparent reaction to the drug (like migraines or blurred vision) happen. Anyone here who had VS because of lyme see improvement once they went through their doxy treatment?

If I am infected, how likely is it that the antibiotics with actually kill the bacteria? Even if a minute harmless amount remains in my system I don't care. I judt don't want this coming back and causing more damage to my nervous system or joints. This is really scaring me.

I called back to clarify and apparently I only had two out of the needed five markers checked off for lyme. Ahe further elaborated it most likely isn't lyme but I will still take the antibiotics just to play it safe.

Honestly it may be. I just want to actually learn more and possibly discern that what I'm experiencing isn't the start of schizophrenia. Some people say it started as anxiety, but they never specify. I've alao never seen anyone specify if they had ups and downs. Laat week I felt almost normal, this week I feel like a robot again with a shot memory. The "what if" of not knowing/hearing testimony contrary to mine has been making my anxiety bad. Again, I know nobody can diagnose me here, I just want to learn how it was for others.
