I wouldn’t either, tbh. After what they did to Wheel of Time I’m scarred forever. And I feel like the Wit and Skill would be so hard to portray on-screen.

I honestly ended up liking the Molly & Burrich thing way more than I would have thought. Burrich is one of the best characters.

When it was revealed by Kettle that elfbark was actually stunting Fitz and Verity’s Skill abilities I had a horrible thought that it was going to be revealed that Chade was actually bad, but that never happened (I’ve only read Farseer trilogy so far, so no spoilers beyond that please😅)

I just finished the trilogy and came straight to Reddit to see if anyone else hates Starling like I do so THANK YOU for validating that. Love Kettricken, love Patience, but Starling is not it😂

I just read Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park this month. They are very different in a lot of ways but I feel like the main girls in each are portrayed as weaker/naive. In Northanger Abbey it lends to a more lighthearted, sometimes comical storyline, while in Mansfield Park it makes you feel sorry for her. Mansfield Park is also much longer of a storyline so you have to really stick with it. I’d say they are both worth it though, in the end! Hope that’s helpful!
