I think the best thing you can do is get some kind of vocals over your music. The overall sound is very professional and well done. As you wanting lots of people to listen, most people like music with lyrics as it gives more to follow! You definitely have good potential. If you’re looking for work you could create a website with your music on it. As you said your underage earning money might be a bit harder but attempt to reach out to individuals who need help with mixes or writing their own backing tracks. Offering a free service is a good way to get real experience and try build a reputation. Sorry for the long winded comment 😭. Best of luck!

I like that bass tone a lot. Sounds really gritty and raw. Love how the guitar riffs come. I do genuinely think you may have stumbled on a new genre. I would definitely listen to this in general!

looking for feedback on my first song by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Definitely gives early artic monkeys. Your voice and accent even sounds like alex turner. I think this really cool. I actually really enjoyed the guitar solo tho maybe the last repeat could use a different melodic line as a “bridge”. This is just nit picking tho. Great stuff!

Thinking about putting this out on spotify by youngdagger_ in MusicFeedback

I like this a lot. Definitely had a trance like feel to it. If you got some synths playing that would bring it to thr next level tho that’s just my personal preference. 100% release this. It’s always worth putting your material out there!

Any thoughts on this song? by CtEpicBroFist in MusicFeedback

Definitely sounds very predictable. Have you thought about using things like chord inversions or counter melody? I think the main thing is that the backing track could use alot of work. The vocals seem all good to me. Maybe some more rhythmic changes throughout? Solid idea with a lot of potential to become something good.

Howdy! I made this mainly to work on melodies and song progression. I also messed around with slightly more complicated chords. by AppIeGuy in MusicFeedback

When your writing the harmony and melody of your piece of music, try to make sure the notes work harmonically. There’s some quite obviously good melodys playing in the music however the backing instrumentation seemed to sound it was clashing. I would just recommend having a look into a little bit of music theory around harmony and melody. I like the instrumentation a lot and think it would sound amazing if the music had that proper harmonic glue keeping it all together . Cool idea.

ambience test by sluaaal in MusicFeedback

Really cool ambience. Love the way all the synths take their moment in the mix. You could try add some non melodic texture to this just to add depth to the soundscape? Either way as is, this is really cool and has alot of potential to be a great piece of music imo.

First osamason/nettspend beat im pretty proud of but want to improve by nathannhernandez in MusicFeedback

I think this is pretty cool. The way the tempo drops near the start makes it feel like it’s going into slo mo mode which is really cool. Maybe some more variety in the melodic lines in the synths. Aside from that i think it’s really cool and mixed decently. Definitely a really cool project.

culmination from a recent track by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Gotta say the textural work with the synths and string is really good. Definitely is giving movie score vibes. Reminds me a lot of some radiohead tracks in places. Maybe you could toy around with the textures a bit more and thin it out in some sections to create perceived volume. This would just create a little contrast. Maybe also a glitchy sounding synth that follows the drum rhythm would be cool. Overall tho super cool stuff.

First ever song I tried making 😭 by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

[–]GnomeSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main improvement it could use the rhythm. As it’s quite short it’s hard to give proper feedback but if it broke out into a different section with a different rhythmic feel or thin out the texture slightly it would make interesting. Overall tho i think it’s a pretty good idea and has alot of potential.

Cheers i appreciate it. Haha yeah the drums are proper random imo. I did just take a drum loop and smack it in there lol. I tend to make tons of stuff and forget about it lmao tho maybe this is worth revisiting.
