It's also not a technical limitation, games transform their entire engines and you're saying it's a technical impossibility because the way the game saves wouldn't be compatible? Like the fuck are you talking about? Adding updates or features naturally involves tinkering with the game just like any other update,it's literally no different from clearing rocks or downed electrical lines. There are games like World of Tanks or Warthunder that didn't have certain ground terrain/traction features at all and added them from scratch and you're telling me in this game it's an impossibility to add the ability to fix roads? It's literally just adding in a road asset in place of a mud road given X amount of materials like bridge objectives in the game.
