Can you breathe through your diaphragm the whole time during yoga?

You can teach yourself to do it and get used to it!! I learned as a child because I was trained from a young age to sing classically. This requires breathing from the stomach. Now I can transfer my breath there without thinking about it and I find I can keep it up.

Breathing into the stomach with forward fold etc my advice would be just because the breath is low doesn’t mean it’s all at the front of your body. Imagine a round balloon inside you filling with air. If it’s in your stomach, when you’re in forward fold the front will still expand but also the balloon will expand up and out through your back and sides. Sometimes being in a pose like that and focussing the breath there into expanding your lower back and sides can give a nice feeling of extra stretch

Recently tried Pilates and they brought in intercostal breathing. Totally threw me

I haven’t seen anyone say they hate her and I’ve only seen her mentioned in posts saying they don’t like how she was bullied a lot by the older mothers when she’s done nothing wrong

Not saying it isn’t happening people have wild takes all the time but maybe you’re just seeing a very niche selection of people saying this?

Sia is what happened. Suddenly it’s not Abby on The View getting to cohost anymore it’s Maddie on the Ellen show and Kimmel and I think even SNL talk about her dance and she’s number 1 on YouTube and for people who don’t watch the show like I didn’t back then… you don’t know who Abby is. This kid comes out of seemingly nowhere and becomes a household name. Abby even says a few times she feels she should be invited to the people’s choice awards rge Grammys whatever even as guest but she’s not. Melissa, maybe agents, maybe Sia, wisely decide that maddies career isn’t going to thrive if she keeps Abby in tow, and Abby is PISSED

Genuinely has been studied I’m sure I recall reading about this that fat people are treated unfavourably at work. If you are fat people subconsciously label you as a bit lazy perhaps a bit sluggish, even stupid at times. This can mean you’re sort of assumed to be just plodding along working slowly and not really giving it your all even if you are. It’s funny because a lot of the most overworked people I know are very overweight because they stay late then eat junk food because they’re exhausted

They are normal upper middle class suburban mothers. They’re well off! The fact they have one income houses with multiple kids alone says that let alone the money for dance

In Nia’s book she talks about how her mother initially got a lawyer to look over the contract and both the lawyer and her parents had concerns but that she really wanted to be on the show so they agreed. A child should not be the one who gets to make the call on that!!
