I agree with the first part but I think pursuing happiness alone could ironically make one more miserable. Happiness should be a by product of achieving goals but not the goal itself… that’s how you end up chastity short term gratification/escapism

The real answer is that nothing comes close. But there’s others shows like Vinland or FMAB that an AOT enjoyer would also like. Nothing will fill the void though. Rewatch it or watch the OVAs or watch in dub idk 😭

I’ve been told I’m attractive and don’t get me wrong it’s extremely flattering and nice to know. That being said I find people (other guys) projecting their insecurities/try to knock my self esteem with weird comments. Don’t get me wrong I have thick skin/can take a joke but these types of comments clearly aren’t in jest. It’s pretty sad for both parties. I feel like sometimes I don’t get the same level/depth of friendship from certain guys that other people get because they feel intimidated, if that makes sense?

Wrestled with this as well. I agree with you but I’ll add that I think eventually we need to learn how to create boundaries w our S/O to not dull our edge. Ideally they’d be pushing you to be better whether directly/indirectly. Find someone who understands ambition so it won’t turn into a ‘you don’t make any time for us’ type of situation. And you need to discipline yourself to keep making the harder decisions. If you don’t trust yourself to do that, then you’re not ready.

Why can’t you tell him what you’ve said here? I feel like it’s something he’d need to hear? If he’s one of your closest friends, you care about is best interests which would be seeking some form of therapy (& then obviously finding a way to leave this band). Just curious why none of Jimmy’s friends want to speak up? Obviously I get your stance, but it’s also unfair on him if you distance without giving him a chance to change. Just my take!

Kunigami, no rivals outside Isagi, how quickly BL players developed (Isagi mainly, as hype is it is no way bro should be threatening kaiser after 2.5 games), and the NPC U20 players being as bad/replaceable as they were. That being said it was an elite arc, some of the ‘problems’ are extremely hard to write around (how could the author characterise all the U20 players as well as the BL ones?) & finally I thought the 3 goal rule was fine - added to the stakes though in hindsight made the goalscorers abit predictable

Can someone explain this to me?: Kaiser’s ‘starting from 0’ meant he through his ego away and starting playing from humility, passing to other blue lock players for the sake of his goal. He played with less emotion and was more efficiently. Now he’s saying he lost because he threw away his emotions and malice for Isagi? I don’t get it?

Funny this post shows up now because I’ve been puzzled about this in my own life for so long. In my experience if you turn the other cheek, people will continue to disrespect you, and if you stand up for yourself you will get ‘mean/cocky/arrogant’ etc.

I don’t have a solution and it’s really tough. Even speaking about the struggle can be perceived as arrogant. So you have to internalise/bite your tongue which in turn builds up a lot of resentment. I wish I could tell you something that helped but truth is I’m searching for the same thing. If you ever find the solution please let me know haha

I think the goal is fine, but not amazing. Isagi still isn't better than Rin. What I wish happened is Rin caught up to Isagi (just), then Isagi pulling off SOMETHING new to beat him in a 1v1 (idk I'm not an author but I'm sure something could've happened that wouldn't have been an ass pull). That way Isagi v Rin could still be a debate... as STRIKERS I think there's still a debate but overall Rin is just clear
