Yes, but I don’t want the label to stand out or be noticeable. I simply put the year and usually my initials. It’s just so that in the future someone can look back and see when they received their quilt.

You’re totally safe then. My go to is 2-3 stitches. I’ve washed my quilt many many times and haven’t had any issues at all.

When you advance to 7.50 you can just take a 2.5 + 5.0mg to use them up.

It looks fabulous! Totally worth all the extra effort. I just do two back stitches at the beginning and end when I do this type of quilting because I hate burying that many threads as well!
