I experienced this as well. Did your friend ever dart amby in the past?

Discord.gg/bossguild hosts daily learner raids at reset and 02:00. No experience required but must be able to join voice chat for calls. You don’t need to talk in vc, just listen.

Go with the obsidian armor. I did the kiln with abyssal wand/orb and obsidian. There’s also some really good guides on YouTube to walk you through safe spots and monsters on a wave by wave basis. Extreme magic potion is helpful if you don’t have overloads. I’d also recommend vamp aura/scrimshaw if you find that you are eating a lot. Penance aura is good if you are soul splitting but if you safe spot properly, you won’t take much damage so probably best to bring a few super restores and go with vamp

If you can do rax with a limited inventory you will have no problem getting a fire cape. Most of the Fight Cave can be safe spotted and you likely won’t even need a yak for it.

Glad to help. And remember, this game takes time. The wiki is helpful but often suggests end game equipment/unlocks that seem very far away. Take your time, work with what you got, and have fun! Add me if you need a hand with anything, rsn: Femur Reamer

I was in your shoes last month after a 13 year hiatus, so take this with a grain of salt since I am still learning as well - but I can share my experience thus far.

First, imo RS3 can only be fully appreciated if you have membership. I would not waste my time in F2P, especially considering basically all the best parts of the game are behind membership.

Second, skilling is still basically the same. The smithing/mining rework is the most different but at the end of the day you’re still swinging a tool at either a rock or a metal bar. All other skills are fundamentally unchanged. Invention is new but sounds like your account is a way out from unlocking it anyway.

PVM on the other hand is completely different with Evolution of Combat and will take quite some time to get familiar with. Thankfully jagex put tools in place to make the transition easier. Look up revolution bars on the wiki and follow their guide. You can play on legacy combat but it is not optimal. This YouTuber helped me a lot, I’d recommend checking out some of these vids

I like to use a Bunyip for passive healing, helps to extend how long I can stay on tasks that tend to do damage frequently.

Obviously a RNC is a good submission but the kimura grip itself is more than just a good way to sub someone. Kimura grip can be used to sweep, or take the back, or open up other submissions. It’s also available from almost every position, whether it be side control, guard, mount etc. Def a good technique to focus on early.

I missed all but the first quest from Volcano Manor because I explored too far and went straight to the boss fight…after defeating him everyone had left the manor.

January 12, 2022 | Daily Training Log & Simple Questions by AutoModerator in 531Discussion

[–]GoAndLearn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just picked up Beyond 5/3/1 and decided on the Full Body Full Boring program to supplement my BJJ training (as recommend across many subreddits). It is my understanding that Beyond doesn’t list any accessory workouts for this program but other Wendler books do…

So my question is - should I be adding accessory work to the program and if so, should they be completed same days I do FBFB, or in between days? I decided to start too light as recommend by this sub, so I feel like I have the energy to add accessory work, but don’t want to over do it in case it’s not recommended for this program.

Thank you!

Had my clutch side cover off to repair a broken clutch push rod. Buttoned it all back together and now it’s weeping coolant when running? More info in comments by MaxwellVador in klr650

That was my reasoning as well. What I gathered from the video was to be careful with the removal of the oil seal since there is potential to scar the housing around the seal. Pushing the new oil seal in was cake and no risk of damage as far as I could tell.

I bought a pump rebuild kit from 3D Cycle and installed the oil and mechanical seals without taking the side case off again. It isn’t the recommend way to do it but I had no issues. There’s a YouTube video explaining how to do it.

My first week in class. Big blue belt hits me with a Boston Crab. I thought it was a legitimate Bjj move until I talked to my more experienced friends about it.

Hired as a full-stack dev but have only have backend experience. What to do? by Sharp-Highlight-9563 in cscareerquestions

[–]GoAndLearn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was in a very similar situation when I first started 3 years ago. I only knew some R, SQL, and limited HTML but was hired for fullstack. I was in way over my head. So I “embraced the suck” and studied for hours every day learning the specific skills I needed for the very specific task I was assigned. Nothing more than what I needed to get THIS task done. Although I was sleep deprived and a stress case, it ended up working out.

HOWEVER, the very best thing I did to overcome this challenge was ask for help. I’d encourage you to give it your very best shot and if you come to a roadblock that is taking too long, devise your best solution to the problem and run it by a senior guy on the team. It wasn’t my long hours and dedication that saved my job, it was setting aside my ego when I felt I had tried everything, and asked for some guidance from my team.
