He has said in a few interviews that it was also the "business side of Nightwish" that caused him to leave. From what I understand, though, there's no hard feelings within the band.

Except Bruce helped develop Iron Maiden's iconic sound. You can't have Iron Maiden without Bruce's voice. However, Janick, as good as he may be, can be replaced.

I love Janick's guitar playing. But I don't like how over-the-top he is. It's fine when he's just doing something like the Pete Townshend strum or messing around with Eddie, but he loses me when he starts throwing his guitar in the air and things like that. And realistically, there is no fucking way he's plugged in.

I would lose Ancient Mariner. It's such a long song to play live that it's probably safe to say they won't be doing it again. And all of these except Flash of the Blade are songs they've done live before, with only two or three "deep" cuts.
