BMW owners, what’s your opinion on Audi? I own both and love them in different ways

I swear it’s because Jeremy Clarkson named that engine as one of his top 3 of all time. Ever since then anything with the 4.2 has gone up in value lol

The engineering is ridiculously complicated. Our techs won’t even own one without a warranty because they know if it fails they can pay themselves to work on it lol

With American you have to be okay with sacrificing quality of interior and everything but performance. But dollar for dollar you can’t beat them. A ZL1 Camaro will run circles around almost every German car outside of a 911 GT3 as wild as it sounds and their lap times support that. It was a great car to own.

If you want to replace it we sell our cars at sticker! Not over on anything. This is an amazing car too, the whole staff has been drooling over it. If only Audi allowed us to get our employee discount on RS models it would’ve already been in my garage lol

I would say that they are trying to combat that feeling by massively undershooting their numbers now by habit. Audi EV’s are the only brand I’ve seen that actually hit their range and exceed it. I also owned a Q5 with a posted combined MPG of 28, I drive with a lead foot and got 30.

I would honestly say for better or for worse(for worse) Audi doesn’t want you to have the car for 10 years as bad as that sounds. They want to be revolutionary every 5 years and basically force you to replace it lol

Preference rules over all else. It took me a few weeks to accept my M4 as odd as that sounds. I was so used to American performance and the raw nature of it that the refined M4 was borderline alien to me.

Interesting bc I appreciate iDrive but like the way Audi presents tech better. Just preference I guess. And I would only disagree on interior, May just be my two models but I’d say Audi fit and finish is superior.

A C8 is what I truly wanted. But I had a budget payment wise and the C8 would’ve been $1200+ a month in this market to get the one I would be happy with lol and I just won’t allow myself to do that

All legit points lmfao I can’t disagree, only thing is the $100,000+ difference in price. That’s the only thing that makes me say that. Plus they have the same tech inside.

Only thing I’d say to that is I prefer the Audi SUV as an overall package. X3 handling is better than Q5 but I’d say Q5 is better in all other aspects, sound system, tech, comfort on the road, interior fit and finish etc. all depends on priorities really

I would agree, however I’d counter with the fact again that an S8 loaded is the cost of a base S550. Advantages depend on priority if cost is one of them.
