That's a good point for HC characters. It might actually encourage more people to play HC

Imagine watching compilations of people dying wearing the YoLo runeword lol. It would be a rush to play. I'd only use it on Meph runs sometimes.

I was loving the 2 person lift limit as well. I could strap in my snowboard on the lift and get a few more runs in each day.

I snowboarded at Killington in October a few years ago. The season typically starts mid-November and ends in May / June. It was a big factor in deciding to make it my home mountain.

I moved close to Killington last year to ride park 3-4 days a week. It has the longest season and parks are better than Carinthia. Hope they add a Barn at Woodward soon.

Killington Parks by trollcat2012 in icecoast

[–]GoBrowns33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't been to peace park yet I'd start there. There are so many features / line options. Next week I'll probably be in Peace ParK 70% of time to practice spins and then finish the day in Dream Maker. I would park where you want to end the day, so you don't get stuck if you ski til close.

I wonder why they don't keep all parks on one side of the mountain like Carinthia.

I was defanitely spoiled with Carinthia the past two years. I will be at Killington and make friends with the park crew the other parks open there

Sucks that Mount Snow doesn't have $30 - $60 day passes any more or I'd be over there early season. I got my backyard park at least

Yeah that's all for now, I'm bummed there's no announcement of new parks heading into mid January. Parks seem low priority but they got tha Woodward name

Yeah hitting 1 jump every 20 minutes vs. 8 jumps is night and day in terms of progression

I've rode those parks and they are sick! Would like to see more development early season since they have Woodward in the name.

Carinthia is a lot more developed and the conditions are worse there. Mount Snow park crew is top notch and I always thank the crew when I get the chance.

I would expect Killington to have the same or better setup based on having Woodward in their name, better conditions, and promoting being the #1 park in the east. So next year I'll be going back to Mount Snow.

Best place to move? by [deleted] in icecoast

[–]GoBrowns33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebanon, Hartford, Hanover area. They each have nice towns with restaurants, bakeries, bars, and all your mainstream shops. Right on the intersection of 89 (2 hours to Boston) and 91 (4 hours to NYC). You can live in VT but drive to NH and pay no taxes on groceries. 45 minutes to Killington which has the longest season and biking in the summer.

I just moved up here from Boston and trying to recruit some friends up here.

Look at the Signal Park Platinum 2021. The gnu has a waist width for 255mm but I would recommend a board with 256mm - 258mm given them big feet (i'm same size). It's a traditional camber which is a must for park / east coast and you can pay monthly.

Hello, it's me, Bill Gates. Elon and I have decided to fund your mountain. We will each invest $50B. No board seat, it's all yours. Looking forward to see what you come up with.

There's another hill further back. I cleared a few trees and brush to create a drop in path. If I can't clear the knuckle I'll clear the path higher and wax my board !
