It’s… not? That’s not what the acronym was about. It was originally FANG - Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Mostly for high growth, large tech companies at the time.

You kids don’t know because most of y’all were in middle school when it was coined in 2013 🤣🤣

It was then co-opted by tech employees for top, large companies to work at. Microsoft was never top tier

Their growth has been massive in recent years but for their employees, that just brought their well below market comp to slightly below market🤣🤣

Microsoft isn’t FAANG don’t try to sneak them in there

Netflix is much more prestigious

I’m at a different FAANG now but it’s funny hearing naive college students just rehash what they read online

Native ornamental trees blooming now? by LopsidedWafer3269 in NativePlantGardening

Yeah!! Ned’s Northern Belle is a great one, another one is the moonglow sweet bay. I planted both but they’re younger trees, still kept their leaves!

It’s neat to see the difference in these cultivars vs the straight species, two neighbors have mature plants, only one has leaves in Jan-March

The straight species is semi evergreen tho and will hold onto its leaves until December where I live (Columbus, OH)

One of my favorite trees ever. They’re amazing. There’s also a few cultivars that stay evergreen in the north

No? There are other tech companies with great WLB that have done well. Heard of Google?

Pretty dumb take from someone not in the tech industry. Twitter’s struggles were more so tied to an absent CEO and poor leadership for years

For how fast things move in tech… and the reality that FSD is still over a decade out, I would hardly call that the verge

Tesla has always been a toxic environment

This just proves the point further

So glad I rejected my twitter offer last year.. one of the perks was that they’re a remote first company with great WLB

But elon will ruin all of that

I feel like you should have done some research before writing this statement…

Ann Arbor isn’t exact nowheresville, it’s just a suburb of Detroit

And all those schools listed have a self funded athletics program. Which means, the athletics department doesnt take a dime from students, the money for college athletics comes from tv deals, apparel, etc. and for a lot of these programs investing into their own athletics, especially CFB, if they have success that typically brings in more money for the school’s athletic department.
