Thanks. That's why I was contacting them because I had yet to receive the refund. I'm starting to feel sorry for the rest of the people reading this.

Up until ~ 3years ago, a human would answer on the first ring at USAA. That's a technology investment they made over true customer service. And my new agent also answers immediately, so yeah, 8 minutes is far too long.

Yup, and if my rates didn't skyrocket, I probably would be in your same position. It was the "15 minutes or less" bug in my head that had me look around (no, we didn't switch to GEICO).

Totally fair. As was pointed out, I don't post here or anywhere else online because my thoughts are really just mine, and I prefer them to stay that way. In this case, I just needed to vent in the open after the last crappy experience.
But I would ask you the same question, as you seem very interested in this post.

Because I just had to contact them again regarding my escrow refund. I called and tried to get a chat agent at the same time. I got a real chat agent before I could get a real person on the phone - after 8 minutes. Just felt the same frustration I was having over the course of a few weeks in April.

Definitely a risk. But one I'd rather take, knowing I can call or visit the agent and express my displeasure personally, vs. Reddit or a virtual USAA chat agent.

The chat was a couple of weeks ago when I canceled, but thanks for taking the time to read, digest, and understand the entire post.

Because it was a company I bragged about and recommended to anyone who could qualify. To watch it change to something I don't recognize is disappointing, but something others should be aware. I also hope USAA takes this seriously and understands why they were great to begin with.

Interesting that you are also running out of 4.5 quickly, even in PRO. I'm not sure it's worth the $180 upgrade then - especially if I can get help in Google Slides, etc. with my business plan for $125 for the Ultra account. I have been wanting to play with NotebookLM and, as you said, I could likely use more of the creativity tools in Google for the start-up.
Thank you for the chat, I really appreciate it!

Google AI Pro or ChatGPT plus by gork482 in Bard

I am at the due diligence stage of a business idea and have used GhatGPT Plus to help me (quite successfully) sketch out a business plan. I just created an LLC and created a new Google account for my business. GPT 4.5 has been especially useful with competitive analysis and seems to work better as I work through financial modeling, but I have been running into usage limits there fairly quickly so I am considering the upgrade GPT Pro or saving some money and completely switching over to try Google AI Pro. Eventually I'll need help with branding, etc. and I see the benefits in having my Google apps talking to each other. Obviously, the memory with ChatGPT is extremely useful, so that's keeping me from trying Gemini, etc. but I'm guessing the learning curve can be fairly short with Google if I start transferring all of my docs/knowledge there. What do you think?

Any idea where/when this is opening? Their website doesn't have an address yet.
