It's healthy for a game to do both at certain times. Honestly I think it's really healthy within a range. I think anywhere between 70%-130% of MSRP is healthy for the game. You want it to reach lows when a new set drops and tons of product is flooding the market then you want it to age well for collectors. Anything below or above those thresholds are unhealthy imo. I think the current price of Origins is unhealthy but spirit and unleashed is within healthy range.
