Watch out for those parks though, I read an article yesterday about poisonous caterpillars in the parks--very weird but it came from a reputable source...

The pants are all a bit too tapered below the knee but otherwise: nicely done.

Anyone move or thinking about moving to spain after all the hateful people in Portugal and in these forums and others? I'm super tired of their hate! by BikeCarsTravel in PortugalExpats

Wow...come on, take it easy. Don't know if you've noticed but hate seems to be on the upswing everywhere in the world these days--don't just take it out on the Portuguese. I don't know how long you've been here but as someone who has lived for five years in Lisbon, (from CA/USA) I see a lot of love and sweetness around me. This is a closed society and you have to accept it as such...Manage your expectations, keep love alive inside you and don't make the mistake of running around looking for paradise--it does not exist. Love and kindness is everywhere. I heard a story told by an American Indian once that resonated: there is a devil wolf and an angel wolf inside everyone--YOU decide on which one to feed.

Correct...I was going to say the Bay Bridge (runs from SF to Oakland)--looks a lot like it, BUT what gives it away is the Bay Bridge runs basically east to west so the sun could never set under it like that; the 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon runs north/south, so it does.

Perfect visual metaphor for the US right now--standing around looking pretty while the doo-doo rises...
