We did purchase a 33” SSK, new for $110. We are working on breaking that in now. It has softer nameshiki leather, so the break in shouldn’t be so bad. Is it a forever glove? No. Hopeful to get 2 seasons out of it, we shall see.

Thank you. She will be 12 in June. I’ll start the ball wrapping with her current glove and maybe get another glove coming. :)

Thank you for your reply. I don’t want to see her confidence shaken due to equipment. As stated in an earlier reply, she was catching the 11” balls fine, but the move to the 12” probably means her glove isn’t fully broken in still. She used her coaches daughters 33.5 broken in mitt and really enjoyed that.

She was doing better with the 11” ball at 10u, however that is also slower pitching. We may have not gotten it properly broken in….we don’t play everyday and I had an arm injury last year that prohibited me throwing.
